BeaverFlow Capacity
Never be caught off guard
Capacity problems have a characteristic pattern: they do not announce themselves until a threshold is crossed and a service degrades. By the time users are affected, the window for graceful intervention has closed. The fix is reactive, rushed, and expensive.
BeaverFlow Capacity inverts that pattern. Real-time metrics for servers, storage, network bandwidth, and cloud resources are displayed against defined thresholds. When utilisation approaches a warning level, an alert fires — hours or days before a service impact occurs.
Resource forecasting uses historical trend data to project capacity requirements forward. Seasonal patterns, growth trajectories, and upcoming project demands are factored into three-to-twelve month projections. Infrastructure investment decisions arrive at the right planning meeting with data behind them, not anxiety.
Performance baselines capture how systems behave under normal conditions. When behaviour deviates from baseline — even without breaching a threshold — the deviation is flagged. Early warning of performance degradation catches problems that threshold monitoring alone would miss.
For cloud environments where capacity is elastic, Capacity provides cost visibility alongside utilisation data. Overprovisioned resources are identified before they generate another month of unnecessary spend. Right-sizing recommendations arrive with the supporting data that procurement and finance need to act on them.
